Never got refund or new key. Received a Windows 10 key that according to Microsoft was in actuality a Windows 7 key. After jumping through several hoops with customer service, they finally gave me a new key.
The new one generated a message in Windows that states the key has already been used. Further attempts to rectify the issue with customer service resulted in them asking me to jump through several more hoops to get a valid key.
